Amanda Craig, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Connecticut and New York and is an American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) board-approved supervisor. A native of Richfield, Minnesota, she completed her undergraduate education at the College of St. Catherine, majoring in psychology and sociology. She earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology and a post-master’s certificate in marriage and family therapy from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. She received a doctorate of philosophy in family psychology from Capella University. Dr. Craig has been in practice for more than 20 years. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in a variety of settings including research departments, juvenile corrections facilities, high schools, substance abuse programs and university/college classrooms.
She currently has a private practice and specializes in treating relationship issues such as communication, conflict resolution and infidelity as well as individual depression, anxiety, addiction and life-work harmony. She works with individuals, couples and families.
Dr. Craig provides supervision to the MFT therapists at Sasco River Family Center. Together they thrive to bring health and wellness to the families in our local communities.
