Carrie Ross brings her expertise and knowledge of relational dynamics to the individuals, couples, and families she works with. She combine compassionate listening and deep curiosity to meet each person where they are. When life gets tough, relationships are usually the first thing to feel the impact. She believes that we all have the potential to make changes in our lives when we feel stuck or challenged, and no one is meant to do it alone.
Carrie takes a collaborative approach to both individual and relationship therapy to help clients become unstuck, break unhealthy patterns and begin to make new moves in their lives. She uses a strengths-based, systemic approach integrating Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy techniques into her work.
Carrie received her undergraduate degree from American University in communications and psychology and has a masters degree in marriage & family therapy from Touro University as well as a masters in literacy and elementary education from Bank Street College of Education.
