Jen is a school psychologist who has experience working with children and adolescents. She has worked with a diverse population of elementary and middle school students. Jen enjoys working with children and teens who may struggle with ADHD, dysregulation, anxiety, trauma, and oppositional behaviors, as well as children on the Autism Spectrum. She incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focussed therapy, and play therapy into her sessions and she has also been trained in the Social Thinking curriculum and Zones of Regulation. Her goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment that will encourage growth and independence for both the individual child and their family. She enjoys collaborating with parents and caretakers and utilizing a family-based approach to support the children she works with.
Jen graduated from Fairfield University with a Master of Arts and a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology. In addition to school psychology, she also completed an Applied Behavior Analysis certificate at Fairfield University. During her practicum and internship, she worked in Bridgeport, Danbury, and with Region 15 schools. Prior to completing her degree in school psychology, Jen also completed her Master of Arts in Elementary Education from UMass Boston.
