Marguerite received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary/Special Education with a minor in Psychology from Elon University. She then went on to pursue her Master’s degree in School Counseling at Hunter College where she graduated with honors. Marguerite is currently in the process of receiving her Licensed Professional Counselor certification from the University of Connecticut.
Marguerite’s experience as an elementary school teacher and a middle school counselor have highlighted the increased need in executive functioning coaching. She works to help students advocate for themselves, build their self-confidence, take initiative, and create strategies to help them be successful both in and outside the school environment.
She works to build a relationship with students built on a foundation of trust and the understanding that she is here to support them. These strong relationships help her to understand the needs of the students she works with. She recognizes that each students needs are different and takes the time to connect with the student to create a plan that best fits them.
