Sarah is a Board Certified and state licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA, LBA), who has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2009. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The University of Connecticut, Sarah started an entry-level position as an ABA Therapist working one on one with students with Autism and related disabilities within specialized public school programs. From there, she quickly fell in love with the science of ABA, and the valuable growth she saw in her students, and made the decision to pursue higher education, and ultimately a BCBA.
Since receiving a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University, and becoming a BCBA in 2015, Sarah has provided in-home, clinic, and school-based ABA services for individuals aged 3-23, as well as staff and caregiver training. She is well versed in conducting skills assessments including the ABLLS-R, the AFLS, and the VB-MAPP, as well as completing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to inform targeted and effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Sarah has extensive experience in school consulting, and acting as part of an interdisciplinary team. She has supervised Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), current BCBAs, as well as those pursuing Board Certification.
Sarah has a true passion for helping parents, teachers, and other caregivers understand the science of behavior, and apply strategies that are feasible to carry out in busy homes and classrooms to create meaningful, and positive change.
