Yasmin Cole-Lewis, PhD, MPH

Yasmin Cole-Lewis, PhD, MPH is a licensed psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in various treatment settings including hospitals, medical clinics, outpatient centers, and in private practice. As a Pediatric Psychologist, she has extensive training in providing care for youth and families living with chronic medical conditions. Dr. Cole-Lewis has treated individuals struggling with a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, ADHD, disruptive behaviors, and somatic symptom disorders. She utilizes a range of evidence-based treatment modalities and techniques, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), behavioral strategies, and mindfulness.

Dr. Cole-Lewis earned her Bachelor of Arts at Emory University and her Master of Public Health in Health Behavior and Health Education at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology at University of Michigan and completed her predoctoral internship in Pediatric Psychology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas and an advanced postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Pain Management at Boston Children’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Cole-Lewis is currently an Attending Psychologist on the Psychiatry Consultation Service at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address mental health needs of youth admitted to the hospital for medical concerns.
