Courtney Kornblum, M.A., CCC-SLP, TSSLD

Courtney Kornblum is a Speech Language Pathologist who has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with a variety of diagnoses and communication differences. She understands the needs of diverse learners and takes on a strengths-based approach when working with any child. Courtney is thoughtful and practical in her approach to screenings, evaluations, treatment, and consultations. She deeply values collaboration with parents and the entire interdisciplinary team to meet the individualized academic, social-emotional and learning needs of all children.

During her tenure, Courtney has worked in various private practice and school-based settings. She has spoken at conferences including multiple American Speech-Language Association conferences, the Social Thinking Providers Conference, and various school-based settings. In 2016, Courtney co-authored the curriculum, Conversation Club: Teaching children with autism spectrum disorder and other social cognition challenges to engage in successful conversations with peers, which teaches children with social language differences the importance of conversation and hands-on ways to engage in successful conversations with their peers.

Courtney received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from The George Washington University. She maintains certification in Speech Language Pathology from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities-Professional Certificate (TSSLD), and is licensed in the states of California, Connecticut, Hawaii and New York.

In her spare time, Courtney enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling, spending time at the beach, talking about her favorite new podcast, book, or show, listening to live music, and venturing out on adventures with her family.
